Dr Aminu Usman (Abu Ammar), Commander-General of the Katsina State Hisbah Board, has resigned from his position with immediate effect.
Usman conveyed his resignation in a letter dated October 5 and addressed to the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Governor’s Office, State Secretariat Complex, Katsina.
The Commander-General did not give any reason for his decision to leave office.
He, however, expressed deep appreciation to Gov. Dikko Radda for the confidence, trust, opportunity and support extended to him throughout his tenure.
“It has been a great honour and privilege to serve the good people of Katsina State under your administration,” he said.
Usman said he was sincerely grateful for the chance to play a role in advancing the development, peace, security and moral welfare of the state.
He also acknowledged Radda’s leadership, direction and support during his period in office.
The former Commander-General prayed for God to continue guiding and blessing the governor, while granting him the wisdom and good health required to keep serving the state.
He further prayed for lasting peace, continued development and prosperity for Katsina State and its residents.
“Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest respect and profound gratitude,” Usman stated.
