Police in Kano State have successfully recovered four stolen vehicles and apprehended four individuals linked to vehicle theft in the state.
The development was confirmed by the Kano State Police Command through its spokesperson, Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, who said the arrests were the result of intelligence-driven operations conducted by police officers.
According to the police, the operation led to the recovery of multiple vehicles believed to have been stolen from various locations, including models such as Hyundai Elantra and Honda Civic. Authorities noted that the success forms part of ongoing efforts to tackle vehicle theft and other criminal activities in Kano.
The police added that investigations are continuing and the suspects may be prosecuted once the inquiry is concluded. They also called on residents to remain alert and report any suspicious activities to security agencies.
