Kaduna State Police Command has launched round-the-clock patrols along the Kaduna–Abuja Highway ahead of the festive season.
The operation, led by CP Rabiu Muhammad and all Tactical Commanders, aims to ensure the safety of commuters and deter criminal activities.
Speaking on the exercise, CP Muhammad said:
“We are committed to safeguarding all travelers on this highway. Patrols and surveillance will continue throughout the festive season and beyond to prevent any form of criminal activity.”
The patrols, conducted in collaboration with the FCT Police Command, cover all border areas between Kaduna State and the Federal Capital Territory, boosting visibility policing and reassuring the public.
The Commissioner also warned against spreading false information online, adding that:
“Those who mislead the public with negative reports will face the full weight of the law.”
