President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to visit Maiduguri on Saturday, December 20, for a working visit to Borno State.

The visit is part of efforts to assess and commission projects executed by the administration of Babagana Umara Zulum, the governor of Borno State.

The projects are aimed at strengthening infrastructure, improving public services, and supporting the state’s post-conflict recovery.

In a statement issued on Friday by the state government, residents were called upon to turn out and welcome the president.

The government emphasized the need for calm, orderly conduct throughout the visit.

According to the statement, the visit offers an opportunity to project Borno State as a place of peace, law, and stability.

The announcement was signed by Usman Tar, the commissioner of information and internal security, Borno State.

Security agencies are expected to ensure a smooth and peaceful visit.
