The Niger State Emergency Management Agency disclosed this in a statement issued on Thursday by its Director General, Abdullahi Baba-Arah.

Baba-Arah identified Mokwa, Bida, alongside some other local government areas in Niger State, as communities impacted by the windstorm disaster.

The NSEMA DG explained that the agency is working together with relevant stakeholders to evaluate the scale of destruction and identify the humanitarian requirements of affected residents.
