The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced that candidates can now access and print their 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination original result slips within two hours of the official release.
The announcement was made on Wednesday through a statement issued by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin.
According to the board, the original result slips feature candidates’ photographs, national rankings, and other security elements needed for post-UTME screening and admission procedures in higher institutions.
“The 2026 UTME Original Result Slip will be available for printing within the next two hours today, Wednesday, 17th June, 2026,” the statement read.
It added, “The Original Result Slip contains the candidate’s photograph, national ranking, and other security features. It is part of the official document required for post-UTME processing and consideration by tertiary institutions.
“Candidates can conveniently print their Original Result Slip from any internet-enabled device, whether at home, in the office, or at accredited business centres.”
JAMB advised candidates to carefully verify all information on the printed slip and retain copies for future admission purposes.
The main 2026 UTME examinations were conducted in April 2026, while a mop-up exercise took place on June 13, 2026, for candidates affected by technical challenges or biometric verification issues during the initial examination.
The results of the mop-up examination were released on Tuesday, June 16.
The printing of original result slips was earlier postponed to allow the board conclude foreign-based examinations and the mop-up exercise.
On May 19, JAMB appealed for patience while finalising the remaining processes.
The availability of the printable slips will allow candidates to continue admission applications into tertiary institutions for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Several institutions have already commenced, or are preparing to commence, their post-UTME registration exercises.
