The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced the commencement of examination slip printing for candidates enrolled for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
JAMB issued the notice on Thursday urging candidates to access its portal to download their slips before the examination begins.
“Examination Slip Printing is now available. The slip contains details of the venue, date and time of your examination and gives you access to the examination hall,” the board said.
Candidates are to visit board website and click on “2026 Slip Printing” to print slips.
This development follows JAMB’s dismissal of a viral press statement wrongly claiming the examination had been postponed. The board described the notice as “malicious and fake” and urged candidates to ignore it.
The 2026 UTME is slated to hold from Thursday April 16 to Saturday April 25 2026.
The examination comes after a mock test held on Saturday March 28 which experienced problems at some Computer-Based Test centres.
Out of the 224,597 candidates who registered for the mock 152,586 took test across 989 CBT centres nationwide. JAMB said more than 20 centres were removed over inadequacies.
The board also cautioned candidates against fraudsters on WhatsApp promising to manipulate scores describing such claims as “false and criminal” and warning cancellation of registration or withholding of results for any candidate found so involved.
