Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) says it has begun a major restructuring process aimed at improving service delivery and boosting operational efficiency.
In a statement published on its website on Friday, the company said the move aligns with its corporate transformation strategy and long-term goal of becoming more agile, innovative, and customer-focused.
“As part of the transformation, we have promoted high-performing staff, released retiring employees, and disengaged those performing below expectations,” the company said.
AEDC added that it has also begun implementing a comprehensive employee development and customer management plan designed to strengthen its customer-centric approach.
The company reaffirmed its commitment to providing reliable, safe, and sustainable electricity to customers across its service areas, while supporting the growth and stability of Nigeria’s energy sector.
