A visitation panel from the Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria (HRORBN) has visited the Department of Health Information Management at Iconic Open University for an accreditation exercise.

The team assessed the entire programme to determine whether it meets the professional standards required for training competent B.HIM. graduates.

The evaluation also focused on verifying the department’s readiness to produce professionals qualified to practice in the health records field.

University, board reaffirm commitment

Officials of the university, the visiting panel, and staff of the department expressed strong commitment to achieving the accreditation objectives.
