“Her tenure marks a turning point in the history of judicial governance in Kano.”

According to the group, one of the most notable achievements under Justice Aboki’s stewardship is the extensive renovation and modernisation of court facilities throughout the state.

Others noted include the upgrading of the Kano State High Court Headquarters and other judicial buildings, with significant improvement in the working environment for judges, magistrates, lawyers, and litigants.

“These infrastructural improvements have created more dignified, secure, and professional spaces for the delivery of justice. The League recognises that these upgrades are not merely aesthetic; they reflect a strategic investment in the judiciary’s functionality and accessibility. By prioritising infrastructure, Justice Aboki has laid the foundation for a more efficient and citizen-friendly justice system” the League added.

Other recorded success under Dije

The CSO League said Justice Aboki’s reforms have also yielded remarkable results in financial performance and accountability.

The Probate Unit, under her leadership, recorded an unprecedented revenue generation of over ₦220 million, the highest in more than three decades, it noted.

“This milestone is a direct outcome of her commitment to streamlining administrative processes and enforcing financial discipline.” Equally commendable is her decisive intervention in addressing financial irregularities within the judiciary’s Finance Department. “
