The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), Kaduna Region, has reaffirmed its collaboration with the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to enhance the protection of critical power infrastructure across the state.
This was highlighted during a strategic meeting at the office of the NSCDC State Commandant, Panam Musa.
Leading the TCN delegation, the general Manager, transmission, Kaduna region, Engr. Nasir Mansur Fada, commended the Corps for its continued commitment to securing TCN assets.
“We appreciate the sustained support of the NSCDC in safeguarding our facilities. Their role has been crucial in ensuring the stability of power infrastructure across the Kaduna Region,” Fada said.
He added that stronger collaboration between both agencies would help address emerging security challenges affecting substations and transmission lines.
In his remarks, Commandant Panam Musa reaffirmed the Corps’ readiness to deepen cooperation with TCN.
“Protecting critical national infrastructure remains a top priority for the NSCDC. We will continue to work closely with TCN to strengthen surveillance and response mechanisms around power installations,” he stated.
Discussions at the meeting focused on improving security strategies, enhancing joint operations, and ensuring better protection of TCN substations across the Kaduna Region.
