The Renewed Hope Arewa Youth Engagement Initiative (RHAYEI) has appointed Dr. Musa Majia, founder of Khadija University Majia, as its Grand Patron, as the group intensifies its campaign to register 10 million Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) across Northern Nigeria.

The appointment was announced during a strategic visit by the group’s leadership to Jigawa State, part of a wider mobilisation drive across the region.

Dr. Musa Majia was formally named Grand Patron by the National Coordinator of RHAYEI, Barrister Najah Umar, in recognition of his contributions to youth development, grassroots mobilisation, and progressive leadership.

The group said the appointment is expected to boost its credibility and strengthen its outreach, especially among young people, as it works to deepen political awareness and participation.

Push for voter registration in the North

A statement signed by M. Saeed Kano, the Director, Media and Publicity, Renewed Hope Arewa Youth Engagement Initiative restated the group’s main goal of mobilising and enrolling 10 million PVC holders across the 19 northern states in support of the APC’s Renewed Hope Agenda under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to the leadership, the initiative is deploying coordinated grassroots strategies focused on youth engagement, civic education, and peaceful, issue-based political participation, with the aim of securing a strong APC victory in the 2027 general elections.

The group reaffirmed its commitment to promoting unity, political awareness, and active citizenship in line with the APC’s vision of a more inclusive and prosperous Nigeria.
