Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has approved a new round of appointments into strategic boards, agencies, and advisory positions as part of efforts to deepen governance and harness the expertise of seasoned professionals.
A statement issued on Sunday by Ibraheem Musa, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, stated that, the new team would “bring innovation, discipline, and renewed vigour to the socio-economic and political re-engineering of Kaduna State.”
According to the statement, among the major appointments are: Dr. Suwaiba Shehu Ibrahim, Mni – Executive Chairman, Kaduna State Senior Secondary Schools Education Board (KSSSEB), Hon. Nita Byack George – Permanent Member, KSSSEB, Hon. Monday Tela Bako – Permanent Member, KSSSEB, Hon. Aliyu Haruna Ahmed – Permanent Member, KSSSEB, Hon. Aliyu Ibrahim – Permanent Member, KSSSEB, Barr. Muhammad Kabir Uthman – Secretary, KSSSEB.
Other strategic appointments include: Phoebe Sukai Yayi – Deputy Provost, Institute of Vocational Training and Skills Development (Samarun Kataf Campus), Engr. Muhammad Sulaiman – Deputy Provost, Soba Campus, Barr. Abdullahi Kabir – Registrar, Institute of Vocational Training and Skills Development, Mallam El-Said Yakubu Lere – Board Chairman, Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC), Zakari Aliyu – Executive Director, KSMC, Hon. Gambo Mathew Bulus – Board Chairman, Kaduna State Agricultural Development Agency (KADA), Mal. Lawal Usman – Chairman, Kaduna State Scholarship and Loans Board (KSSLB), Hon. Suleiman Ibrahim – General Manager, Kaduna State Environmental Protection Agency (KEPA), Usman Umar – Executive Director (Corporate Services), Kaduna Mining Development Company Ltd, Barr. Abdulrauf Atiku – Special Adviser, Legal Matters, Murjanatu Sulaiman Shika – Special Adviser, Vocational Training and Skills Development.
Uba Sani charge new appointees
The statement added that, several Senior and Special Assistants were also appointed across key sectors including Emergency Management, Citizenship and Leadership, Humanitarian Affairs, Public Relations, Industrial Training, Job Creation, and Stakeholder Relations.
Governor Uba Sani congratulated the new appointees and urged them to see their roles as a “call to service.” He charged them to discharge their duties with “total commitment, diligence, fairness, and humility.”
