The Kaduna State Police Command has welcomed a new batch of recruit constables who have completed their training at various police colleges across the country and have been officially posted to the command.

Speaking during an induction session at the Command Headquarters in Kaduna, the Commissioner of Police, CP Rabi’u Muhammed (psc, mni), said the new personnel would be deployed across the 23 local government areas of the state as part of the Nigeria Police Force’s community policing initiative.

“The constables are expected to bring fresh energy and renewed commitment to our community policing efforts,” CP Muhammed said.

“They will play a vital role in strengthening relationships between the police and the public, which is key to effective crime prevention and control.”

The Commissioner charged the newly deployed officers to uphold the core values of integrity, discipline, and professionalism in the discharge of their duties.

“As you begin your policing journey, you must always remember that professionalism and ethical conduct are the bedrock of effective law enforcement,” he said. “Serve the people with honesty, fairness, and respect for human rights.”

‘Synergy with Other Security Agencies’

He also called on the officers to collaborate with other security agencies, the military, and community leaders in tackling security challenges in the state.

“Policing today is about partnership and cooperation,” the Commissioner added. “By working together, we can promote peace and ensure the safety of all residents in Kaduna State.”

In a statement, the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Mansur Hassan, said the Command is confident that the new personnel will contribute meaningfully to efforts aimed at maintaining law and order across the state.
