The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested 52 suspects during coordinated raids on black spots and criminal hideouts across Abuja.
According to a report released on Sunday, the operation was conducted by police teams from several divisions, including Nyanya, Gwagwa, Jikwoyi, Utako, Apo, Karmo, Iddo, and Kabusa.
The joint effort was part of the command’s ongoing strategy to rid the FCT of crime and criminal elements.
The raids, which began around 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, focused mainly on uncompleted buildings and secluded areas believed to serve as criminal hideouts.
Officers combed through multiple locations in a late-night operation that lasted several hours.

The Police spokespersons confirmed that all 52 suspects are currently in custody for screening and interrogation.
The authorities said anyone found guilty of wrongdoing after investigation would face prosecution in court.
