Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has approved the conduct of the 2025 promotion examination for all eligible staff of the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM).

The Chairman of the Commission, Mallam Bello Tauheed Abubakar, disclosed this in Ilorin while addressing management staff in his office on Monday.

He described the governor’s approval as “another testimony to Governor AbdulRazaq’s commitment to improving the welfare of teachers in the state.”

Bello recalled that upon assuming office in 2019, Governor AbdulRazaq cash-backed the outstanding promotions for 2015, 2016, and 2017, and had since sustained the exercise up to 2024.

The TESCOM Chairman urged affected staff to remain committed to their duties, stressing that “the present administration will continue to give necessary attention to their welfare towards motivating them for better performance.”

He added that the date for the examination will be communicated in due course. The announcement was conveyed by Sam Bola Onile, Press Secretary of Kwara TESCOM.
