Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have killed three Boko Haram terrorists during a clearance operation in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State.
Military sources told counterinsurgency expert Zagazola Makama that the operation took place on Friday, May 31, at the outskirts of Konduga town.
According to the sources, the troops engaged the terrorists in a fierce firefight, leading to the death of three insurgents, while several others escaped with varying degrees of gunshot wounds.
The operation is part of ongoing efforts by the Nigerian military to clear remnants of Boko Haram fighters from the northeastern region.
