Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima on his 60th birthday.
The governor’s spokesman, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, disclosed this in a statement issued on Tuesday.
Yusuf described Shettima as an experienced politician, administrator and visionary leader whose contributions have helped Nigeria’s development.
He praised the vice president for his courage, humility and commitment to public service, saying his experience in governance has been valuable to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
According to the governor, Shettima’s years in public service, including his time as Borno State governor, senator and now vice president, show his commitment to improving the lives of Nigerians.
Yusuf also commended Shettima’s intellectual ability, patriotism and efforts towards promoting national unity and economic growth.
He prayed for Allah to bless the vice president with good health, wisdom and strength to continue serving the country.
The governor also wished Shettima many more years of productive service.
