President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated three outstanding Nigerian students — Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, Rukayya Muhammad Fema, and Hadiza Kashim Kalli — for their remarkable achievements at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Competition held in London, United Kingdom.
According to a statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, the trio made Nigeria proud by clinching top international honors in English language communication and debate.

Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu (17) emerged overall best in English language skills and Rukayya Muhammad Fema (15) won overall best in debate.
Meanwhile, Hadiza Kashim Kalli received the Outstanding Talent Award (Gold Medal).
President Tinubu commended their brilliance and stated that their success symbolizes a bright future for Nigeria, powered by a new generation of talented and disciplined youth.
A nod to schools and Nigeria’s education system
The President also praised the students’ schools and educators, stating that the achievement reflects the strength and potential of Nigeria’s education system as a builder of globally competitive minds.
He described the students’ performance as a testament to what is possible when learning institutions are well-supported and students are empowered.
Reiterating his administration’s focus on education, Tinubu noted that his government is making significant investments in the sector, particularly through the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), which aims to eliminate financial barriers for indigent students seeking higher education.
“Education is a critical element for national development,”
the President said.
He emphasizing that empowering young Nigerians is central to building a prosperous future.
President Tinubu then urged Nafisa, Rukayya, and Hadiza to remain focused on their academic pursuits and continue striving for excellence.
“The nation’s future is much brighter with many of its youth as repositories of excellence,”he said.
He wished the trio continued success.
