The vice-presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, Rabiu Kwankwaso, on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Kano as political activities begin to gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The development was revealed in a statement issued by Kwankwaso’s media aide, Saifullahi Hassan, on Friday.

According to the statement, Obasanjo, who is presently in Kano on an official engagement, welcomed Kwankwaso at his temporary residence in the state.

“His Excellency, Sen.
