The Kaduna Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) generated N14.68 billion in revenue between October and December 2025, representing a 35 per cent increase over the same period last year.
The Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Sa’ad Hassan, disclosed this on Tuesday in Kaduna, saying the figure showed “a significant improvement” over the N10.86 billion recorded in the corresponding period of 2024.
“This achievement underscores our commitment to revenue generation, trade facilitation and protection of the national economy,” Hassan said.
He explained that the revenue performance reflected collections of N5.16 billion in October, N3.83 billion in November and N5.68 billion in December.
According to him, the improved performance was driven by the “diligence, professionalism and dedication” of officers and men of the command, as well as enhanced intelligence gathering and compliance monitoring.
Hassan added that the result aligned with the policy direction of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, anchored on “consolidation, collaboration and innovation.”
He urged factories and terminal operators to ensure the timely payment of excise and import duties, assuring stakeholders of the command’s commitment to transparency and professionalism.
