Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, has reorganized his cabinet, reassigning several commissioners and appointing two new special advisers. The changes, announced by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, take immediate effect.
In the new lineup, Hon. Adnan Nahabu becomes Commissioner for Higher, Vocational and Technical Education, while Professor Ahmad Muhammad Bakori will now lead the newly created Ministry of Livestock Development. Hon. Aliyu Lawal Zakari moves to Agriculture, and Hajiya Zainab Musa Musawa is redeployed to Special Duties. Hon. Yusuf Suleiman Jibia now heads Basic and Secondary Education, and Engr. Surajo Yazid Abukur takes charge of Youth and Sports Development.
Hajiya Aisha Aminu, formerly the Director-General of KASEDA, has been appointed Commissioner for Women Affairs. The governor also named Hajiya Hadiza Abubakar Yar’Adua as Special Adviser on Nutrition and Welfare Services and Isa Muhammad Musa as Special Adviser on Cultural Orientation.
Radda urged the new appointees to view their roles as a call to service and to remain dedicated to advancing the state’s development.
