The Department of State Services (DSS) has dismissed 115 officers as part of an ongoing internal reform aimed at strengthening discipline, accountability, and professionalism within the agency.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Service said the dismissals followed a series of disciplinary reviews intended to uphold integrity and restore public confidence in its operations.

The DSS also cautioned Nigerians against dealing with former personnel posing as active operatives, naming Barry Donald and Victor Onyedikachi Godwin among individuals earlier flagged for fraudulent activities.

“The public is advised to exercise caution and report anyone falsely claiming to represent the Service,” the statement read.

Officials said the dismissals mark a continuation of internal restructuring efforts to rid the DSS of unethical practices and improve transparency within its ranks.
