The All Progressives Congress, APC, has announced that it will hold its National Caucus and National Executive Committee, NEC, meetings on Monday, 15 December 2025, and Tuesday, 16 December 2025, respectively.
Both gatherings are scheduled for the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja. The announcement was contained in an official notice signed by the APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, and shared on the party’s website on Wednesday.
According to the notice, the National Caucus meeting will commence on Monday, 15 December 2025, at 6:00 pm. The caucus is a statutory organ of the party established under Article 11 of the APC Constitution.
The notice explained that the caucus session will assemble major figures within the party, such as the “National Chairman, Deputy National Chairmen (North and South), National Secretary, Deputy National Secretary, National Legal Adviser.
“National Treasurer, National Organising Secretary, National Woman Leader, National Youth Leader, National Leader of Persons Living with Disabilities, past and present Presidents and Vice Presidents of Nigeria who are party members, presidential and vice-presidential candidates.”
“Past and present Senate and House leaders, serving and past Governors, state party chairmen, former National Chairmen and Secretaries, Zonal Chairmen, and other designated representatives.
“All Members of the National Caucus are by this invitation to TAKE NOTICE of the meeting in accordance with Article 11.5 of the Constitution,” the notice stated.
The NEC meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, 16 December 2025, at 12:00 pm. The NEC is also a major organ of the party, established under Article 13.1 of the APC Constitution.
The session will include members such as “the National Chairman, Deputy National Chairmen (North and South), National Secretary, Deputy National Secretary, National Legal Adviser, Deputy Legal Adviser, National Treasurer”.
“Deputy Treasurer, National Organising Secretary, Deputy Organising Secretary, National Financial Secretary, National Publicity Secretary, National Auditor, Deputy Auditor, Deputy Welfare Secretary.
“National Woman and Youth Leaders, Deputy Leaders, State Chairmen, zonal representatives, and members elected by the National Convention, among others.
“All Members of the National Executive Committee are by this invitation to TAKE NOTICE of the meeting in accordance with Article 12.3 of the APC Constitution,” the notice added.
