The Katsina State Government has begun the Community Level Committee (CLC) — a critical step to engage grassroots communities ahead of the 2026 budget plans.
In one of the meetings held st Sirika ‘A’ Ward, Dutse Local Government Area, residents express hope that their needs would make it to the budget document.
The meeting, which forms part of the Governor’s Community Development Programme (CDP), aims to ensure grassroots involvement in the budgeting process by prioritizing the real needs of citizens across all wards in the state.
The session was presided over by the Chairman of the Party in Dutsi LGA, Hon. Lado Alhaji Lado, who led discussions and facilitated community participation in his home ward.
This engagement is one of many expected to take place across Katsina State as the government deepens its commitment to inclusive governance and participatory budgeting.
