Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has dismissed claims of religious crisis in the state, saying his administration runs an all-inclusive government built on unity and mutual respect.

Speaking on Saturday at a mega rally organised by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kafanchan, the governor said the event marked a homecoming for many leaders who chose progress and peace over division.

“In Kaduna, we are running the government as a family. There’s absolutely nothing called discrimination in Kaduna State,” Governor Sani declared.

“I want to let you know that there’s nothing like a religious crisis in Kaduna State. Ignore those characters who are religious and ethnic merchants,” he added.

Katung, Others Dump PDP for APC

The rally witnessed a major political realignment as Senator Sunday Katung, who represents Kaduna South Senatorial District, officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling APC.

Governor Sani expressed appreciation to Katung and other federal lawmakers who joined the party, describing their decision as a vote of confidence in his administration’s development agenda.

“I want to thank Senator Sunday Katung and all other House of Representatives members who defected to our party,” the governor said.
