The management of the Kaduna State Universal Basic Education Board (KADSUBEB), led by the Acting Executive Chairman, Malam Mubarak Mohammed, has conducted an inspection of selected public primary schools within the Kaduna metropolis to assess compliance with the state academic calendar by teachers and pupils.

The inspection, which was carried out without prior notice, was aimed at evaluating punctuality, lesson delivery, and overall adherence to education policies at the basic education level.

During the visits, the Chairman and his team interacted with head teachers and other school staff to ensure that teaching materials and acquired instructional skills are being effectively deployed to improve pupils’ learning outcomes.

Speaking after the exercise, Malam Mubarak Mohammed said the inspection was in line with the commitment of the Kaduna State Government to strengthening basic education across the state.

He noted that Governor Uba Sani has provided a conducive working environment for teachers, stressing that KADSUBEB remains determined to ensure full compliance with all education policies and standards.

“The Board will promptly address challenges identified during the inspection to enhance teaching and learning in our schools,” the Acting Chairman assured.

Malam Mubarak Mohammed also commended the impressive turnout of teachers following the term break and expressed satisfaction with the level of engagement observed in classrooms.

He further held interactive sessions with teachers and pupils to assess learning progress, particularly at the foundational level of basic education.

The inspection exercise forms part of KADSUBEB’s ongoing efforts to improve accountability, boost learning outcomes, and reinforce discipline across public primary schools in Kaduna State.
