A woman in Kano, who asked to be identified only as Rahma to protect her identity, has narrated a disturbing ordeal in which three women allegedly invaded her home, assaulted her, and made away with valuables.

ICONIC TIMES exclusively reports that the incident reportedly occurred around 12:00 p.m. in Ja’en B/Diga, Sharada Phase 3, Kano.

Speaking about the experience, Rahma said the three women approached her house under the pretext of searching for someone’s residence.

According to her, they claimed to have finally located the house they were looking for.

“They said, ‘Wallahi, this is his house. Let’s call Mama and tell her we’ve located his house; we’re with his wife right now,’” Rahma recounted.

Believing they were genuine visitors, she allowed them into her home and served them a meal. However, she said the situation quickly turned violent.

“As I dropped the meal, I suddenly felt a slap on one side of my face, then another on the other side. Two of them immediately stood up, tied my hands behind my back with rope, and gagged my mouth,” she alleged.

Rahma claimed that after restraining her, the suspects ransacked her home and carted away jewellery and wrappers before fleeing the scene.

The traumatic incident has reportedly left her shaken. She is now calling for justice and improved security in the area.

As of the time of filing this report, the motive behind the attack remains unclear, and it is not confirmed whether the suspects have been arrested.

Kano Police command is yet to respond to the issue.
