President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is in Lagos on a working visit as Nigeria prepares for a modest celebration of its 65th Independence Anniversary.
The President arrived in the state on Friday after attending the coronation of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, in Oyo State.
While in Lagos, President Tinubu is expected to meet with major players in the private sector as well as senior government officials to discuss key national development issues.
The President will also travel to Imo State on Tuesday, September 30, where he is scheduled to commission several projects executed by Governor Hope Uzodimma.
As part of the Independence activities, Tinubu will commission the newly remodeled National Theatre, which has been renamed the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts.
The working visit highlights the administration’s continued engagement with stakeholders and its focus on development, culture, and economic growth ahead of the anniversary.
