Musa Gude, the member representing Uke/Karshi Constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has announced the appointment of 106 aides to support his legislative duties.
The Social Democratic Party (SDP) lawmaker disclosed this in Lafia while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday.
According to him, the decision was not only to strengthen his service delivery but also to uplift the living standards of those appointed and their families.
Salaries structured to reach different categories
Gude explained that his aides, including special and personal assistants, were placed on varying salary scales.
Some, he said:
“I want to disclose that I have 106 aides on my payroll, including Special and Personal Assistants.”
“Some of them receive N100,000, N80,000, N50,000, N30,000, N20,000 and N10,000 respectively,” he said.
He described the move as a demonstration of his commitment to inclusive leadership and grassroots empowerment.
The legislator stressed that the appointments were designed to give more people in his constituency a sense of belonging and opportunity.
Boreholes, WAEC fees, and empowerment projects
Highlighting his achievements, Gude revealed that he had already provided several boreholes across communities in his constituency.
He also disclosed that he had paid WAEC examination fees for many students, stressing that education remains a top priority for him.
Beyond education, the lawmaker pointed to his interventions in health, agriculture, infrastructure, and youth empowerment, noting that many constituents have become more self-reliant through his initiatives.
Gude assured his people of continued quality representation in the Nasarawa State legislature.
He pledged to sustain his focus on development-oriented projects that will directly impact lives at the grassroots level.
The lawmaker urged members of his constituency to embrace peace, unity, and tolerance, regardless of political or religious differences.
