Senator Natasha raises alarm over alleged assassination plot

This attack comes amid serious allegations recently made by Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan. During a homecoming event in her constituency, the senator accused Senate President Godswill Akpabio of orchestrating a plot to have her assassinated in her local government area.

Addressing her supporters, Senator Natasha claimed that “Akpabio had contracted Governor Ahmed Ododo and former Governor Yahaya Bello to carry out the assassination.”

She further alleged that “they planned to blame the people of my constituency for my murder, using the ongoing tension between myself and the Senate leadership as a smokescreen.”

The senator’s claims and the recent attack on her family residence have raised growing concerns about the political climate in Kogi State and the safety of elected officials.Z
