The Professor Peter Olufemi Adeniyi Foundation (PPOAF) has officially commissioned the upgraded Egbeoba High School Library, marking a major milestone in educational development within Ekiti State.

Valued at over ₦N13.2 million, the project converted the school’s library into a modern hybrid learning centre, equipped with 1,164 new physical books and a digital e-library suite of eight desktop computers powered by a custom-built 4kW/24V solar inverter system that guarantees uninterrupted power supply.

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, represented by Dr. Adebayo Adeyinka, who commissioned the upgraded library alongside officials of the state Ministry of Education, community members, leaders, and royal fathers in Ikole Ekiti, commended PPOAF for its role in closing the digital gap.

The Principal of the school, Mr. Jospeh Ojo, expressed excitement, noting that the project would improve the quality of learning for his students. In addition to the upgrade, PPOAF also organised a capacity building workshop for over 150 community leaders, focused on strategic partnerships and resource mobilisation.
