The Renewed Hope Arewa Youth Engagement Initiative has praised the Governor of Kano State for his decision to join the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing it as an important step toward stronger governance and unity in Kano State and across Nigeria.

In a statement signed by its Director of Media and Public Enlightenment, M. Saeed Kano, the group said the governor’s move shows his commitment to national development, inclusive leadership, and people-focused governance.

The group said joining the APC reflects the governor’s willingness to work on a broader national platform that supports growth, cooperation, and progress for all Nigerians, especially young people.

According to the statement, the initiative believes the decision signals the governor’s readiness to work with different stakeholders to achieve lasting development that will benefit youths and the general population.

The group also called on residents of Kano State, party members, community leaders, and youth groups to support the new political direction. It urged them to take part in democratic activities such as voter registration and peaceful civic engagement.

Reaffirming its support for the governor, the Renewed Hope Arewa Youth Engagement Initiative pledged to continue working with him to promote unity, encourage civic participation, and advance the shared goal of building a better Nigeria.
