Iconic University has unveiled its Hall of Fame for the Spring Semester 2025, celebrating “exceptional lecturers and outstanding students for their remarkable contributions to teaching and learning.”
In a statement while celebrating both the students and the lecturers, the university noted: “It is both the sides of a coin that makes it legal tender, and a more reason for us to appreciate and celebrate our lecturers who are identified as the most outstanding on training our students and are choosen by the ICONS as the best.”
The honoured lecturers include Dr. Amina Imam Abubakar, named Students’ Overall Best Lecturer for the Spring Semester 2025; Dr. Lawal K. Olatunji, selected as Students’ Best Lecturer for the Postgraduate School; Mr. Saifullahi Abdullahi Bayero, emerged Students’ Best Lecturer for the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences; Dr. Lucky Daniel, chosen as Students’ Best Lecturer for the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences; and Dr. Hamza Gazali Anka, also recognized as Students’ Best Lecturer for the Postgraduate School.

Others are Dr. Aliyu Haruna, who emerged as Best Practicum Supervisor in the Public Health Department; Dr. Busari Jamiu, honored as Students’ Best Lecturer in the Faculty of Arts and Education; and Mr. Aliyu Musa, named Students’ Best Lecturer for the General Studies Department.
According to the institution, the recognition goes beyond symbolic appreciation. “Exclusive appreciation package aside the publication of their achievement is made available by the university for their scholarly contributions,” it stated.

Similarly, the university celebrated outstanding students who excelled in specific assessments across various faculties during the last semester. “The university in its entirety wants to appreciate and celebrate these amazing students for their outstanding performances in some specific assessments of the last semester,” the statement read.
Their names, the university confirmed, will also be written in bold and featured in the 2025 prospectus as part of its long-term recognition of excellence.
“Join us in celebrating these amazing ICONS as we say Bravo and kudos to them,” the institution added, stressing that the Hall of Fame tradition represents not just the recognition of academic achievements but also the strengthening of the bond between lecturers and students in advancing knowledge.
