Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, attended the 15th, 16th, and 17th Combined Convocation Ceremony of Adamawa State University.
The ceremony took place on Saturday in Mubi, Adamawa State.
Governor Zulum was the special guest of honor at the event as he was received by Adamawa State Governor, Hon. Ahmodu Fintiri, who is also the visitor to the university.
The convocation marked an important milestone in the university’s academic growth and service to the region.
During the event, the university conferred an honorary Doctor of Laws (LL.D) degree on Alhaji (Dr.) Muhammadu Indimi, OFR.
Dr. Indimi serves as Chairman of the Governing Council of Kashim Ibrahim University and Chairman of Oriental Energy Resources.
He was honored for his outstanding contributions to education, philanthropy, and national development.
The university described the recognition as a reflection of Dr. Indimi’s commitment to advancing learning and supporting youth empowerment.
