The Zamfara State branch of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has called on citizens, especially party loyalists, to utilise the ongoing nationwide online membership registration platform to formally enroll with the party.
In a statement released to journalists in Gusau, the state capital, the party’s spokesman, Comrade Abdulkareem Umar Lihidda, also urged members who have not yet secured their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to do so, noting it is vital for choosing leaders of their preference and keeping those in authority accountable always.
The statement stressed that it remains the constitutional responsibility of every Nigerian above 18 years to register and obtain a PVC.
The party further urged residents of Zamfara State and Nigerians nationwide to be active in exercising their voting rights in the 2027 general elections rather than lamenting outcomes afterward publicly.
“This is the right time to make informed decisions by ensuring that every Nigerian above 18 gets his or her Permanent Voter Card,” the statement added.
