Chukwuma Soludo, candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has been declared winner of the Anambra State governorship election after results from all 21 local government areas were announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

INEC revealed that a total of 584,054 votes were collated across the state, with Soludo securing 422,664 votes, maintaining a commanding lead over his closest rival, Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who garnered 99,445 votes. Other parties recorded the following totals: ADC – 8,208 votes and PDP – 1,401 votes.

With this victory, Soludo secures a second term as Anambra’s governor, extending APGA’s long-standing political dominance in the state.
