Popular Hausa political singer, Dr. Dauda Kahutu Rarara, and his wife, Hajiya Ayshatulhumaira, have paid a courtesy and solidarity visit to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

According to a statement shared by Ishaq Samaila on Monday, the meeting was “marked by warm exchanges and mutual appreciation, as Rarara praised President Tinubu for what he called “visionary leadership, inclusive governance, and unwavering commitment to national unity and progress.”

Responding, President Tinubu commended Rarara for his contributions to political awareness and grassroots mobilization through music.

The president described him as “a patriotic artist whose works continue to inspire hope among Nigerians,” acknowledging the singer’s role in promoting civic participation and national pride through his art.

The meeting, held at the Presidential Villa, was seen as a reflection of the administration’s recognition of the creative industry as a key partner in nation-building.

It “further strengthened the bond between the creative industry and the political leadership,” the statement noted.
