A team from the National Universities Commission (NUC) has paid an assessment visit to Iconic Open University as part of the resource verification process for the proposed Bachelor of Science (B.CHS.) in Community Health Science programme.

The visit was conducted to evaluate the university’s academic infrastructure, manpower, curriculum content, and learning facilities to ascertain compliance with NUC requirements for programme accreditation.

According to a statement issued by the management of Iconic Open University, the NUC panel, led by Professor Saka Muhammad and supported by other commission officials, toured the institution to examine the human and material resources deployed for the take-off of the programme.

The management of Iconic Open University reiterated the institution’s dedication to delivering inclusive and high-quality education through open and distance learning, consistent with global best practices in tertiary education within Nigeria and beyond.
